Riverdale Yoetzet Initiative

About us

The Riverdale Yoetzet Initiative is a collaboration between three shuls; The Riverdale Jewish Center, The Young Israel of North Riverdale and The Riverdale Minyan. The Riverdale community prides itself on being the first community in the United States to employ a Yoetzet. The Riverdale community feels strongly about the critical role that a Yoetzet Halacha has within a halachically observant community. She not only increases the community’s knowledge about Taharat Hamishpacha but also ensures that people have the ability to inquire about their halachic observance and practices in an intelligent and thoughtful manner.
