About us

Mt Sinai Jewish Center is a a warm and vibrant shul in Washington Heights. The shul serves community members of all ages, but mostly caters to people in their 20s, 30s, and older adults (70s and 80s). Our shul is not only a religious center, but also serves as a community center in many ways.

Mount Sinai Jewish Center is a vibrant and warm community in Washington Heights. It serves a diverse community of people who move to Washington Heights from all over the USA (and other countries). We have people of all ages and from all backgrounds who contribute their time and energy to our innovative and creative programming. At MSJC, many of the young adults take on leadership positions, where they make important decisions, ask important questions, and don’t shy away from difficult and complicated religious issues.
